Meet Andrew
I’m Andrew, lead photographer and owner of ARC Film. Over the past eight years, I’ve had the privilege of documenting nearly 400 weddings, from refined private celebrations to unforgettable destination events. My focus is on capturing each couple’s story with authenticity and elegance, blending timeless, natural moments with a select number of artistic, one-of-a-kind images that elevate your gallery and make your collection truly elevated. I take on a limited number of weddings each year to ensure every couple enjoys a seamless, personalized experience, allowing you to be fully present while I capture your day with care and intention.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
✦ DO YOU OFFER VIDEOGRAPHY OR CONTENT CREATION?
Yes. While my focus is exclusively on wedding photography, I’m happy to still offer a simple highlight wedding video for couples who specifically request it. Content creation is also available
✦ DO YOU OFFER FILM AND DRONE PHOTOGRAPHY?
Yes! Both film and drone photography are included in most of my collections, giving you elevated, cinematic imagery that complements the classic and artistic shots I create.
✦ DO YOU CHARGE TRAVEL FEES?
I do not charge travel fees within Southern California. For weddings outside of the area, reasonable travel expenses are included as part of your custom proposal.
✦ WHAT SETS YOU APART FROM OTHER PHOTOGRAPHERS?
I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Every gallery is built around the moments you care about most, the inspiration images you love, and the thoughtful details you’ve designed for your day. My couples book me because they value artistry, creativity, and genuine emotion, images that feel magazine-worthy while capturing the real love story of their wedding.
✦ HOW SOON SHOULD WE BOOK OUR DAY?
I take on a limited number of weddings each year, so the sooner you reach out, the better your chances of securing your date. I recommend booking your photographer 12–24 months in advance. To lock in your date with me, simply reach out to schedule a consultation.
✦ DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT?
Yes. A 25% retainer is required to secure your date, and the remaining balance is due before the wedding day.
✦ DO YOU HELP WITH THE TIMELINE?
Absolutely. A well designed timeline is the secret to a stress free day and gorgeous photos. We’ll hop on a call before the wedding, walk through your vision, and build a custom photo timeline that flows naturally. It’s flexible and things can change, but I’ll make sure every meaningful moment is perfectly planned.
✦ HAVE YOU SHOT AT MY VENUE BEFORE?
Chances are yes. I’ve photographed weddings all over California and I know how to make any space look its best. If your venue is new to me, I will scout it ahead of time to find the best light, angles, and unique details so we are fully prepared.
✦ HOW MANY HOURS OF COVERAGE DO I NEED?
If your entire celebration is at one venue, most couples need around 8-10 hours of coverage. If you have additional pre wedding events or a multi day celebration, we can always have me there for more time. It all depends on your plans for the day.
✦ WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
I shoot both digital and film because your wedding deserves the best of both worlds. Film is authentic timeless photography at its finest. It gives every moment a rich, nostalgic look that simply cannot be replicated. My main setup is a Sony A7R V with a G Master 35mm prime for most of the day. For intimate close ups I switch to an 85mm prime. When the party gets dark I have flash dialed in. I also bring a drone when the location calls for something epic from above. Everything is backed up to dual cards and I carry full backup gear so nothing interrupts your day.
✦ DO WE MEET IN PERSON BEFORE THE WEDDING?
If you prefer to meet in person we can in Irvine. With the amount of weddings I take on, in person meetings are not always possible, but I am always available for FaceTime or a call. Plus we will have plenty of time to connect during your engagement shoot.
✦ WHAT IS THE TURNAROUND TIME?
You will receive a sneak peek of 50 or more photos within 1 to 2 days, and your full gallery is typically delivered within 4 to 6 weeks.
